Batwoman in the Lesbian Jungle

Well here is a twist for you in the comic universe. With the death?departure?time travel? of the current Batman, DC Comics are placing his female counter part in the spotlight. Batman is being replaced for a period, by Batwoman. The interesting fact here is that the Batwoman character is a lesbian. Kathy Kane who is the woman behind the mask is a socialite who moonlights as a crime fighter.

DC Comics might just move up our favourite list.

If anyone has seen any of the pictures of Lady Gaga parading around London with basically nothing on in minus degrees you would also have respect for this genius trendsetter. If that does not win you over try listening to her album... that will do the trick

Sitting on my couch...

The last couple of weeks has been a bit hectic in my new house. We had family staying over, roommates leaving on vacation, meeting new people in our area and hanging out with my mom and my sister. Strangely enough I am not in a very Christmas mood this year. This is not my first Christmas holiday here in London, but this year it hasnt hit me yet. Maybe it is because I do not have any money to buy presents =)

I was walking in Covent Garden today with my buddy Wollie. This homeless woman went up to Wollie with the biggest smile, handed him a mistletoe and said happy Christmas. He thanked her and walked away but was rudely brought back to reality when she started yelling at him for not giving her any money. That is Christmas for you, one big money making scheme... synical? me? no way!

After our little incedent we went to Forbidden Planet which is the BEST PLACE IN THE WORLD! My very happy place!

There is nothing that can really top Forbidden Planet and thus this will be the end of this entry, untill my Forbidden high has worn off, and then I am sure I will have something to complain about again.

Music on my mind...

I am known for listening to one particular song over and over when I like the song, but I even can get tired of a song. But there is one song that I do not tire off. The song is "Dream" by Alice Smith.
